Sri Lankan Defence Services Rugby came third in the 1st CISM Military Rugby-7 Challenge held in Moscow, Russia
The combined team of all three Sri Lankan Defence Services participated in the 1st International Military Sports Council (CISM) Military Rugby-7 Challenge, which was held in Moscow, Russia from 22 August to 27 August 2023. The team competed with participants from Russia, South Africa, Belarus and Bangladesh at the stadium of the sports complex in "Luzhniki" and came third in the competition.
