Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine builds links with Buryat State University
Following a visit of Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia, to the Republic of Buryatia, the Embassy organized an online introductory meeting between the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine (GWUIM) and the Dorji Banzarov Buryat State University (BSU) on 06 March 2024.

Sri Lankan students win Russian Olympiad hosted by Kalmyk State University
Seven students of the Gampaha Wickramarachchi University of Indigenous Medicine (GWUIM) became winners of the International Distance Olympiad in Russian Language and Regional Studies among Foreign Citizens, which was hosted in November – December 2023 by the Kalmyk State University.
