On 03 December 2024 at the invitation of the Sri Lankan student community of the Peoples' Friendship University (RUDN) Ambassador P. M. Amza, Head of Sri Lankan Mission in Russia, joined by Mr. Chamila Jayarathna, Minister (Education and Trade) participated in the inauguration ceremony of the Asian Week, which takes place in the University annually.

On November 25, 2024, the Head of Sri Lankan Mission in Moscow Ambassador P.M. Amza took part in the presentation of the National Russian State Library at the invitation of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

15 November 2024 at the invitation of the Diplomatic Academy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Ambassador P. M. Amza, Head of the Sri Lankan Mission in Moscow, participated in the International Scientific Conference "The Future of Diplomacy and Diplomatic Services" and delivered a talk on Future Diplomacy.

On November 4-5, 2024 Head of the Sri Lankan Mission in Moscow Ambassador Pakeer Mohideen Amza paid his first visit to Gomel State Medical University, Republic of Belarus.

On November 06, 2024, the Head of the Sri Lankan Mission to the Russian Federation Ambassador P.M. Amza paid his first visit to the prestigious Grodno State Medical University of the Republic of Belarus, where more than 800 Sri Lankan students currently receive their degree in General Medicine.

On October 31, 2024, the Head of the Sri Lankan Mission in Moscow Ambassador P.M. Amza paid his first visit to the Kurgan region.
Ambassador P.M. Amza and the First Deputy Governor - Head of the Governor's Office Mr. Andrei Alekseev discussed possible areas for mutually beneficial cooperation and development of socio-economic ties between Sri Lanka and the Kurgan region.
