Ambassador P. M. Amza, Head of Sri Lankan Mission in the Russian Federation signed the book of condolence at the Embassy of Vietnam in Moscow on the demise of Late Nguyen Phu Trong, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam on 25 July 2024.

Ambassador P. M. Amza headed an introductory online meeting between the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and the Russian State University of Land Use Planning, which took place on 25 July 2024.

Ambassador P. M. Amza, accompanied by the Embassy officials, visited Moscow Region State Vocational College Energy on 23 July 2024 to discuss cooperation in the sphere of vocational training.

Ambassador P. M. Amza participated in the Cultural Festival of the Latin American and Caribbean Countries organized by the Department of External Economic and International Links of Moscow on 20 July 2024.

Ambassador P. M. Amza had a fruitful meeting with Dr. Oleg Yastrebov - Rector of Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN).
