Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation completed yet another successful event on 27th May 2016 by networking the Sri Lanka’s treasure, “Gem Industry” with the Russian Gem and Jewelry industry.
The event was organized and held at the residence of the Embassy of Sri Lanka with the able guidance of the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation Dr. Saman Weerasinghe and 1st Secretary (Trade) of the Embassy Miss Chandima Kiriwandala.

Sri Lanka Gems and Jewelry delegation to visit Exhibition JUNWEX-2016 in Russia
International Jewellery Exhibition NEW RUSSIAN STYLE gathered over 300 Russian and International jewelry manufacturers at All-Russian Exhibition Centre in the heart of Moscow. This exhibition on 25th May, 2016. 9 Sri Lankan leading Jewellery Export Companies together with Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Authority and Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association, Export Development Board officials and officials of Embassy of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation are participated this event. Its participants personify the future model of Russian and international jewelry market.
