Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia receives 500 hand sanitizers to be dispatched to Sri Lankan students
On April 25, 2020 the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia coordinated the distribution of food packs and hand sanitizers arranged by Dr. Saman Weerasinghe, Former Sri Lanka's Ambassador to Russia and Secretary General of the Sri Lanka-Russia Friendship Society, among over 140 Sri Lankan students enrolled at universities in Moscow.
In continuation of this initiative, today the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia has received 500 hand sanitizers from Dr. Saman Weerasinghe, which will be dispatched to Sri Lankans who are currently studying at universities in St. Petersburg and Astrakhan.
