In the frame work of Cultural Diplomacy, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Business and Professional Society in Russia along with "Marfino" Center of Culture and Leisure organized Celebrations of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year on 17 April 2021, in Moscow while adhering to all necessary sanitary precautions.

The 28th annual international exhibition of food products, beverages and raw materials used for its production – "PRODEXPO-2021" – kicked off on April 12, 2021 at the "Expocentre" in Moscow and lasted for five days until April 16, 2021.

Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation Prof. M.D. Lamawansa presented copies of his letters of credence to the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Mukhtar B. Tleuberdi on 01 of April 2021. The official ceremony took place in Moscow and gathered 14 foreign Ambassadors who are concurrently accredited to the Republic of Kazakhstan with the residence in Moscow.
