Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation, accompanied by Madame Sanja Jayatilleka, to the Russian People's Friendship University (RUDN), one of the most popular and widely-known in Sri Lanka Russian higher education institutions.

On March 7, 2019 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Russian Federation H.E. Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka and Madame Sanja Jayatilleka paid a visit to Andrey Kortunov, Director General of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), who holds a PhD in History and has taught Russian foreign policy at universities around the world and headed several public organizations operating in the fields of higher education, social sciences and social development.

Fyodor Lukyanov is the Chairman of the Presidium of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, Research Director of the Valdai Discussion Club Foundation, and Member of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC).
