Minister discusses the systematic repatriation process of Overseas Sri Lankans to the Country amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

181 Sri Lankan students evacuated with the 2nd special SriLankan Airlines flight
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Russia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Relations, the Presidential Secretariat and SriLankan Airlines repatriated the second group of Sri Lankan students in the Russian Federation who had registered with the Embassy expressing their desire to return to Sri Lanka in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic on 24 May 2020 by flight UL 1206.
The group consisted of 181 passengers mostly including students from Tver and Kursk.
