      — Leather products
      — Plastic products
      — Footwear
      For the investor who will be investing in Sri Lanka receive the advantage of catering Chinese, Korean, India, Pakistan and other South Asian markets etc. by utilizing the applicable tariff concessions granted under Preferential/Free Trade Agreements such as ISFTA (Indo-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement), PSFTA (Pakistan-Sri Lanka Free Trade Agreement), APTA (Asia Pacific Trade Agreement), SAARC FREE Trade Area (SAFTA) etc.
      Moreover, Russian companies could participate with the large scale infrastructure development projects in the areas of Northern and East provinces as well as other provinces of Sri Lanka.

 

Tourism

- During the past three years, total tourist arrivals from Russia to Sri Lanka recorded an increasing trend. In 2109 Russia marked the 7th important market place for Sri Lanka Tourism by increasing 34% tourist arrivals from the Russian Federation to Sri Lanka. 
- The majority of Russian tourists visited Sri Lanka on vacation.
