A three member delegation headed by Hon. Nalin Bandara, Deputy Minister of Public Administration & Management and Law and Order visited Russia to participate at the 22nd International Homeland Security Exhibition "Interpolitex 2018" held from 23 – 26 October 2018 in Moscow, Russian Federation.

On 23rd October 2018, Hon. Nalin Bandara and delegation participated at the opening ceremony of the exhibition which was inaugurated by Hon. V. Kolokoltsev, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
The Exhibition is organized by the Russian Federation Ministry of Internal Affairs, Russian Federal Security Service, Federal Service of National Guard of the Russian Federation with the Exhibition Companies Group "BIZON" acting in the capacity of the organizer of the event.
During the exhibition Hon. Nalin Bandara met with the Head of the Department of International Police Cooperation of Russia and discussed the matters of international cooperation in public and state security spheres.
At the exhibition, the exhibitors demonstrated to Hon. Nalin Bandara, the most modern and advanced technologies and equipment used by law enforcement authorities.
On October 23, the visiting delegation attended a dinner hosted by the First Secretary of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow, which was also attended by H.E. Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka, Ambassador of Sri Lanka in the Russian Federation with Madame Sanja Jayatilleka and other Embassy officials.
