At the invitation of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) Faction in the Moscow State Duma, on 30 January 2025 a group of Sri Lankan students of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia made a visit to the Moscow State Duma.

In the framework of the visit, students from Sri Lanka, India and Laos met Mr. S. K. Timokhov, Head of the CPRF Faction office, as well as Ms. T. I. Desyatova, Head of the International Brigade of the Moscow City Organization of the CPRF.
The students had an excursion around the Duma building, watched a film about the work of the legislative authority, took pictures and received souvenirs to commemorate the visit.
