On November 15, 2023, H.E. the Ambassador Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage visited an exclusive event in the framework of the International Exhibition and Forum "Russia", at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

VDNKH, a traditional large-scale Exhibition platform, was symbolically chosen for the demonstration of achievements of the Russian Federation in various fields of its National Economy, Science and Technology. Special attention was paid to industrial production, transportation and high technologies.
The event was organized with the support of the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation and the Organizing Committee and gathered Heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Moscow from more than 70 countries.
Sergey Kirienko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the Forum Organizing Committee, told the foreign diplomats about the concept of the Exhibition and invited the Ambassadors to bring delegations and explore its extensive exposition.
