07 – 16 August 2023, the NSBM Green University of Sri Lanka organized a Global Youth Camp – 2023, which gathered students from such countries as Russia, Great Britain, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, the USA and other countries enabling them to learn, while experiencing culture, history and nature of Sri Lanka.

The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow facilitated to participation of the students from the Moscow State University, as well as Prof. Boris Volkhonsky, teacher of Sinhala language at the Institute of Asian and African Countries of the MSU, in the Camp.
In the course of his stay in Sri Lanka, Prof. Boris Volkhonsky delivered a number of lectures for the international Camp participants, conducted meetings with the Administration of the NSBM Green University, as well as the University of Kelaniya and discussed the possibilities of strengthening links between the Moscow State University and its Sri Lankan counterparts.
