H.E the Ambassador Prof. Janitha A. Liyanage took part in the inaugural ceremony of the 6th International Scientific Conference "Advances in Synthesis and Complexing" on September 26-30, 2022.

The conference was hosted by Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) and was attended by participants from 15 countries. The Conference gathered more than 140 international experts in Chemistry and hundreds of young scientists.
Ambassador of Sri Lanka H.E. Prof. Janitha A. LIYANAGE, being a Senior Prof. in Chemistry was invited by Prof. VOSKRESENSKY and the organisers for the presidium of the Conference.
In her welcome remarks Her Excellency adressed the audience and spoke about Chemistry as a network tool uniting scientists from all over the world.
Prof. Liyanage highlighted the importance of participation of a large number of young researches in this significant event.
