Attorney General of Sri Lanka Hon. Parinda Ranasinghe accompanied by the Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka to St. Petersburg Mr. Vagram Zakharyan took part in the work of the XIII St. Petersburg International Legal Forum focused on "Law: Lessons from the Past for the world of the Future."

On the margins of the Forum, Attorney General Ranasinghe had a productive meeting with Mr. Peter Gorodov, Deputy Attorney General of the Russian Federation.
The issues of countering transnational organized crime, cyber threats, terrorism, drug trafficking, as well as the specifics of the active development of cooperation between countries to combat crime in these areas were discussed.
