Job orders for bringing Sri Lankans for employment in the Russian Federation can be attested by the Embassy

Requirements

Original Demand Letter (Job Order) in English certified by the relevant Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation.

 Power of Attorney between Sri Lanka Agent and the Russian Company in English certified by the relevant Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation.

 Original Agreement between Sri Lanka Agent and the Russian Company in English certified by the relevant Chamber of Commerce of the Russian Federation.

 If the above documents are signed between a Man power argent and a Sri Lankan agent:

- the Power of Attorney/Agreement between the Russian company and the Man power agent authorizing the man power agent to recruit employees on their behalf;

- the employment conditions;

- the license granted by the relevant Russian authorities for carrying out man power activities.

 Proof of legal authority given by the relevant Russian authorities to attract Sri Lankans under the respective job categories.

 Business registration.

• Sample Employment contract to be signed between the Russian employer and Sri Lankan employee.

• Inspection visit by the officials of the Embassy to observe the facilities provided.

 Consular fee.

Processing time: Up to 14 working days, provided all information provided is satisfactory.

Minimum information to be included in the documents:

Job order

a) Job category and responsibilities

b) Number of vacancies

c) Salary, allowances and currency in which the payment is being made

d) Amount of fixed overtime paid (in the currency of payment)

e) Details of any deduction from the salary

f) Details of holidays and leave entitlement for the year

g) Whether the employee is permitted vacation leave (if any) outside the country of employment

h) Food (whether food is provided free of charge or whether an allowance is paid for purchase of food. If an allowance is paid, the amount and currency in which it is paid)

i) Accommodation (whether accommodation is provided free of charge or whether an allowance is paid to obtain accommodation. If an allowance is paid, the amount and currency in which it is paid)

j) Medical facilities (whether the medical facilities are provided by the employer free of charge or whether an insurance/health card system is in operation under the sponsorship of the employer)

k) Air Passage (for domestic and garment sector female employees, both way air tickets should be provided by the employer. For other categories, the return ticket should be provided by the employer at his/her cost)

l) Period of contract and renewal (duration of the contract and conditions for removal of the same)

m) Working hours per day and number of working days per week

n) Payment of Visa fees

o) Provision of Local transport.

 Agreement

a) Food - Whether food is provided, free of charge or whether an allowance is paid for purchase of food. If an allowance is paid, the amount and currency in which it is paid.

b) Accommodation - Whether accommodation is provided, free of charge or whether an allowance is paid to obtain accommodation. If an allowance is paid, the amount and currency in which it is paid.

c) Medical Facilities - Whether the medical facilities are provided by the employer free of charge or whether an insurance/health card system is in operation under the sponsorship of the employer.

d) Air Passage - for domestic and garment sector female employees, both way air tickets should be provided by the employer. For other categories, the return ticket should be provided by the employer at his/her cost.

e) Period of contract – Number of years and conditions of renewal of the contract.

f) Working hours per day and number of working hours per week.

g) Details of holidays and leave entitlement per year.

h) Whether the employee is permitted vacation leave (if any) outside the country of employment.

i) Commission payable to Sri Lankan Agent/Commission receivable from Sri Lankan Agent per worker.

j) Compensation for death and accidents and applicable insurance schemes.

k) Provisions regarding the termination of employment by both parties.

l) In case of breach of employment contract or termination of employment contract by the employer, whether return air ticket is provided by the employer.

m) Other terms and conditions (all other terms and conditions shall be covered by the prevailing labour laws of the Russian Federation).
