H. E. Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka and Madame Sanja Jayatilleka, welcomed at the Expocentre by Ms. Madusha Samurdi, Assistant Director (Russia & CIS), SLTPB, and Ms. Chathurika Perera, Second Secretary (Commerce) of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Moscow, followed the tradition of lighting the ceremonial oil lamp to wish the best to the exhibition participants.
During the opening ceremony, H.E. the Ambassador was glad to meet Ms. Veronika Dassanayaka, Major of Sri Lanka Army and leader of renowned Army dancing troupe, and admired the artwork of Mr. Sanath Abeysekera, Moscow born and based architect and designer of the impressive Sri Lanka pavilion.
